Renewed Confidence, a division of Urology Associates provides specialized care to women facing the embarrassing symptoms of incontinence.  One in four women between the ages of 30-59 experience urinary incontinence, the accidental leaking of urine when you cough, laugh, jog or hear running water.

Women with urinary incontinence often need to protect themselves with diapers or pads. Millions suffer needlessly from embarrassment and discomfort. Understanding the problem is the first step in helping you gain control. Renewed Confidence is dedicated to help you stay drier, reduce the need for protection and regain the freedom to live an active life.

-- Why Use the Center for Urinary Continence?

Involuntary loss of urine (incontinence) is not a normal part of aging, but it is a symptom of other medical problems. Incontinence may be the result of pelvic muscles weakened from childbirth, stroke, diabetes, bladder infection, side effects of medication, prior surgery, or radiation treatments.

  • Urge Incontinence also called Overactive Bladder or OAB: Having a strong desire to urinate and being unable to wait long enough to get to the toilet. Frequency can also be a problem.
  • Stress Incontinence: Leaking urine when you sneeze, cough, laugh, exercise or life heavy objects.
  • Overflow Incontinence: Dribbling urine throughout the day and never feeling like you have completely emptied your bladder.

Many women suffer from more than one of these types of incontinence.
